Out of the many "Halimaw" (a Tagalog word for 'monster') from the Philippine Archipelago, researcher Karl Gaverza chose 31 to represent creatures of Philippine folklore.

Take a peek at 31 that we have documented from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao .

Following the popularity of drawing prompts in October, PhSpirits launched Halimaween for creators to educate and depict 31 Halimaw for every day of the month.
